1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Colab Cloud ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Colab Cloud provides cloud synchronization services for the Co(lab) desktop application, including settings sync, storage, and account management features.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious content or malware
- Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
- Exceed the storage limits of your plan
5. Service Tiers
The Service is offered in different tiers with varying features and limits. Free tier accounts include:
- 100 MB cloud storage
- 2 connected devices
- Settings synchronization
We reserve the right to modify tier features and limits with reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Blackboard and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit that content as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Blackboard, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
